Jamilah Page Anofienam, PhD, RDN is the current EFNEP County Coordinator for the Tuskegee University Cooperative Extension Program. Armed with a Bachelor of Science in Food and Nutrition Sciences/Dietetics from Tuskegee University and a PhD in Nutrition from Auburn University, her journey is marked by a depth of expertise as a registered dietitian nutritionist. Dr. Page's holistic approach to fostering health equity is evident in her collaborative efforts with foundations, food banks, and schools, aimed at instilling healthy habits within underserved communities.
Dr. Page made significant strides within academia and extension services, holding pivotal roles at Tuskegee University Cooperative Extension, Alabama Cooperative Extension System at Auburn University, and as a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Nutrition at Berea College. Her personal narrative, shaped by the loss of her father to cardiovascular disease and upbringing in a single-parent household, fuels her relentless pursuit of knowledge in nutrition, dietetics, and public health. She is also the founder and CEO of A Fresh Page, LLC - Community Nutrition and Public Health Consultation Services.
