About me
Jacqueline (Jackie) Wilkins has
nearly 30 years of progressive and diversified experience in Higher Ed, as well
as for- and non-profit management and consulting aimed at building
organizational and community capacity. As OSU Extension's first female Associate Dean and Extension Director, and now as she returns to her faculty role, Jackie has dedicated herself to Extension’s mission of bringing research-backed information from the university to communities across the Buckeye State to co-create solutions to address Ohio’s most complex issues. She remains committed to promoting a culture of inclusivity, supporting efforts to build a diverse workforce and stakeholder base, and growing and supporting Extension employees to bolster the scholarship of Extension engagement both within and outside of the OSU Extension system. Jackie received her bachelor's degree in psychology from Ohio Dominican University, and her master's and doctoral degrees in human development and family science from The Ohio State University. When she is not working, she enjoys time with her husband, three children, two grand babies-- as well as hiking, boating, reading and functional crossfit.
