About me
Diane Oliver has been an Extension Agent with the University of Delaware Cooperative Extension since June 2019. During this time, she has been the coordinator of EFNEP and more recently, the leader of the UD Cooperative Extension Food Safety Initiatives. In December 2023, she began her work with the Extension Foundation on incorporating Immunization Education into EFNEP.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Dietetics from the University of Delaware, completed her Dietetic Internship with the State of Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene and has a Master of Public Health in Community Health Education from Temple University. Diane is a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist with over 25 years of community and public health experience. She is proud to be a lifelong Delawarean but enjoys traveling to far away place. Her most recent trip last month was to Argentina and Chile where she was forced to try many different types of wine. Diane has also been geocaching for 15 years. But be warned that she will take you to find a geocache if you are with her and there is one close by.
