About me
Clara Wilshire is a Community Education Specialist 2 for the Adult EFNEP with 31 years of service at UCANR EFNEP. She holds a BS in Health Education from Cal State University San Bernardino and is a UC Master Food Preserver volunteer. Clara is dedicated to supporting parents in improving food security, reducing food waste, and connecting them to food preservation resources. She is particularly passionate about serving the Spanish-speaking community and ensuring access to valuable resources. Clara has worked closely with UC Spanish News media developing short videos promoting the Adult EFNEP and Master Food Preservers Programs to the Spanish speaking public. Clara lives in the same community she serves and constantly encounter past and current participants that continue to share with her the impact the program has made in their lives.
