About me
Amy Hollar joined the UNH Extension Health & Well-Being team as a State Specialist in June 2020. She serves as the Area of Expertise Chair for Healthy Living and Nutrition. She coordinates the Nutrition Connections Program, which includes serving as the PI for the UNH Extension SNAP-Ed and EFNEP grants. She has an appointment as an Extension Associate Professor with the College of Life Sciences and Agriculture which includes collaborating with faculty on research addressing social determinants of health, nutrition equity and culturally-tailored interventions, and engaging students with Extension programs.
Amy holds a Bachelors degree from Keene State College and a Masters degree from the University of Cincinnati. She is a Registered Dietitian and has previously worked for University of Maryland Extension EFNEP and SNAP-Ed and Ohio State University Extension EFNEP. Amy enjoys working with partners and communities to make "the healthy choice the easy choice".
