About me
Abby Bowman is the Research Associate for the EFNEP Program through The Ohio State University. She has a master’s degree in public health from Ohio State and a bachelor’s in nutrition and psychology from Ohio Wesleyan University. Prior to joining the EFNEP team, Abby worked at a shelter for survivors of domestic violence. She spent 4 years serving community members, primarily low-income women and their children, who had been displaced due to intimate-partner violence. This experience led to partnerships with organizations targeting food insecurity, homelessness, substance abuse, and mental health, which are also essential when assisting EFNEP’s target population.
