Christine Davidson is an EFNEP Supervisor with over 20 years of service at the University of California Agriculture and Natural Resources (UCANR). She has extensive experience in teaching nutrition and physical activity promotion to EFNEP and SNAP participants, as well as in program collaboration and health program development. Christine has led and co-authored numerous research projects, including two UC Sustainable Agriculture Research & Education Program (UC SAREP) grants and assisted in the development of the culturally sensitive obesity risk assessment tools led by CE Specialist Marilyn Townsend.
Her work includes supporting EFNEP staff, coordinating grants, and developing educational curricula and resources for low-income families. She has contributed to over 30 publications and received the UC ANR STAR Award for program integration. Christine holds a Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Culturally & Linguistically Diverse Education from Colorado Christian University and a BA in Family & Consumer Science from California State University, Sacramento.
Christine is passionate about cross-program collaboration to improve food security, food resource management, and food safety for EFNEP participants.
