About me
Karen Carrier is a Nutrition Links Supervisor in York County, PA. She oversees both EFNEP and SNAP-Ed programming and provides support to a team of 3 Nutrition Education Advisers. Karen is also an Extension Educator offering Health and Wellness programming as the other component of her split position.
Before coming to Penn State Extension, Karen was the Nutrition Education Coordinator and a WIC Nutritionist Supervisor for the Lancaster County, PA, WIC program. Over the years, Karen has held a few different roles within WIC in PA and NY. Karen has spent the entirety of her career working to provide nutrition education to low-income and underserved populations.
